...Need we list MORE?!?!?

Being prepared consists of the following:
1) Sneakers (not boots, crocks, sandals, bare feet, etc.)
2) Change of clothes (top and bottom) to t-shirt/long sleeve T and shorts, wind pants, or sweats.

For those students who don’t change, it is not only unpleasant for themselves and the people around them, but it also poses health risks such as athletes foot, jock itch, and leaves the door open for various forms of bacterial infections. Also, sneakers play a vital role in preventing foot and ankle injuries during activity, and protects the gym floor from damage.

Not being prepared not only affects your health and hygiene, but it also affects your grade. Failure to come prepared to class earns you a zero for the day, and those zeros add up quickly. PE is a graduation requirement and it shouldn’t be difficult to come prepared to class, just like bringing your books to science, bringing your calculator to math, or bringing your equipment to work on time for a job. Being prepared is a necessary life skill that will benefit you not only now during completion of graduation requirements, but as you enter the working world as well.

To those students who are prepared daily, we thank you and appreciate your efforts!
