GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Enosburg Falls High School students are required to earn a minimum of twenty-four credits and to satisfy requirements for Civic Service in order to be graduated. Students are expected to register for 8 credits per school year. Non-credit bearing Study Centers may be requested on a need basis through the Guidance Office. To be considered full-time, a student must be enrolled in at least 7 credits, or 6.5 credits if enrolled in a lab science. As part of the 24 total credits needed to graduate, students are required to earn 16 specific credits in the following subject areas.

SOCIAL STUDIES
All students must earn 2 credits in World
History, and 1 credit in United States History.

earning 1 credit from each of the following clusters:

Physical Science
Technical Science

College Preparatory Biology
General Biology

Chemistry (College Preparatory)
Chemistry, A.P. Chemistry
Environmental Science
Advanced Biology
Physics (College prep)
A.P. Physics
Agricultural Science
Embedded Credit from
Foresry & Natural Resources,
Automotive Technology, Allied Health,
and Cosmetology program completers

CIVIC SERVICE

Students are required to complete 40 hours of Civic Service. Credit will not be issued for Civic Service, but proof of completion will be mandatory for graduation. Civic Service will be done on weekends, after school, or during study hall time. Students cannot miss class time to fulfill this requirement.
