go as a school by bus or you can go in the evening with your parents).
____ Sign-up for the PSAT, which will take place
Wednesday, October 14, 2009. The
PSAT costs $13.00 (there are some fee waivers available in the Guidance Office
for students with financial need).

Read the PSAT/NMSQT Student
Bulletin.
____ Attend the VSAC Paying for
College night
here at EFMHS , Tuesday, October 20, at 6:30pm.

Obtain a social security
number if you do not already know yours.
NOVEMBER:

Meet with your School
Counselor regarding your post-high school interests.
____ Review your academic progress. Remember, colleges will be making
their decisions based primarily on the grades of your first three years of high
school, and your senior year course choices. Michael McRaith A-H, Kate

A significant improvement will weigh in your favor.

Review PSAT scores with your
School Counselor, plan strategies &
practice.

Talk with graduates who are
home from college.

Make a preliminary list of
colleges

Choose your date wisely.
Consult with your school counselor if you have any questions.
