A message from the principal

Dear Parents and Students:

I am greatly looking forward to the 2008-2009 school year. This is my third year as principal at Enosburg Falls Middle School. During that time, I've been very pleased with the strides we have made as a school. I'm looking forward to working with parents, students, and staff members to keep our school on the path towards continual improvement.

Parents: There is a huge body of research in education that clearly demonstrates the imprtance parents have on their child's education. By insisting that your child come to school each day ready to learn, making sure they follow school rules and complete assigned work, you can have a powerful positive impact on your child's educational success at the middle school.

Students: As a middle school student you are old enough to take most of the responsibility for your own learning. Take advantage of your time at school. Follow the school's Code of Conduct, do your work and behave as a respectful individual. If you do these simple things you are sure to have a successful school year!

Please feel free to contact any teacher with any questions or concerns you might have. All teachers can be reached by calling 933-5354 or by email. You may also contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Let's work together to make 2008-2009 a wonderful school year for all of us!

Yours in education,

Jay Nichols
